The Ford Racing M-6010-M504V 5.0L Engine Block is low pressure cast from 319 aluminum & is the same improved design block used in the 2013 Mustang. It retains the standard 92.2mm bore, but adds pressed in iron cylinder wall liners & eliminates the piston oil squirters found on 2011-13 Mustangs. The block has increased thickness main webs & cross bolted nodular iron main caps for added strength. The head bolt size is increased to 11mm, so the use of this block on a 2011-13 Mustang will require new head bolts. Dowel pins & block plugs are included! This block is a great upgrade for 2011-13 Mustang owners pushing their car to the horsepower limits!
