2011-2014 Mustang

There was truly nothing like it, the rumors became true.  We thought, no way Ford is going to increase the horsepower by over 100hp and not only that, but this engine was also going to be able to hold way more horsepower than the previous GT motors!  But ford answered the call and gave all us Mustang enthusiasts what we wanted, a true performance-oriented Mustang with a major overhaul on the exterior/ interior and of course, the Coyote platform which would be used moving forward for over a decade.

With a few updates since 2011, the 2015-2017 Mustang GT still boasts the ever popular, results driven Coyote engine platform.  First thing that comes to mind, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" holds true for the coyote platform and S550 chassis.  Major exterior/ interior changes have been made since 2011 and slight changes to the coyote engine have been made, such as more power availability and slightly stronger internals in the Gen 2 and 3 coyote motor.  Its a true statement and proof that the coyote engine is the example of performance!

The Gen 1 coyote motor comes with 412 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque from a 5.0-liter (302 Cubic Inch) port-injected "Coyote" V8 powerplant.  Drivetrain you can see the RWD w/ 6-speed manual transmission from the known MT82 (or optional 6-speed auto trans also known as the 6R80).
